I never forced you to abort the pregnancy, It was your idea – Sarkodie to Yvonne Nelson

Sarkodie has responded to Yvonne Nelson's claims of abortion in his latest song.

The rapper released a new track titled "Try Me" on YouTube, accompanied by a lyric video.

Within the song, Sarkodie refuted allegations that he coerced the actress into having an abortion in 2010. He presented his perspective, stating that despite being unprepared at the time, he expressed his desire for Yvonne to have the baby. However, she declined due to her educational commitments.

“You told me you were schooling so you needed to complete it but till today, I don’t believe it. I told you to let my doctor take care of you and you sent a text later that your friend has recommended one of the best doctors…

“So don’t you make it seem like I was the one pushing you for abortion? Baby girl make you no try me”, part of his lyrics reads.

Earlier on June 19, social media was abuzz with news of the rapper's alleged sexual affair with Yvonne Nelson, the prominent screen personality. Yvonne Nelson made this affair public in her memoir, "I am not Yvonne Nelson."

According to Yvonne's account, Sarkodie impregnated her during a period when he was still striving for success and subsequently requested her to terminate the pregnancy.
