The music ministry within the church is currently underutilized and lacks proper education, despite its significant role in Christian worship.
As a response to this, Liberated Psalmist and Chords Therapy have joined forces to organize a comprehensive gospel music seminar.
This seminar aims to provide in-depth studies and equip the Music Department within the body of Christ with the necessary skills for more effective ministry. It also seeks to foster interaction and cooperation among music ministers from various backgrounds and denominations.
The vision of this seminar is to develop competent and confident musicians and speakers who can excel on both local and international platforms. The target audience includes choir members, choir directors, praise and worship leaders, musicians (instrumentalists), gospel artists, pastors, Christians, and more.
The CHORDS THERAPY course outline encompasses voice training, voice techniques, the ministry of praise and worship, and a workshop specifically designed for musicians (instrumentalists).
Distinguished speakers, including Mark Milllas Fish (Lecturer at UEW), Anane Mantey, Alexander Aboagye, Ps. Phillip Isaiah Boateng, Emmanuel Kyei, and Andrews Kofi Akpor, will be sharing their expertise during the seminar.
The event will take place on Sunday, June 11th, 2023, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Liberty Assemblies of God Auditorium in Ashaiman Newtown. The theme for the seminar is "Secrets of a Successful Musician."
Registration for this seminar is free, and for further information or registration, please contact 0244-984221 or 0249-116019.
