A woman named Faustina from Kasoa in the Central Region had a close call with losing her finger after wearing a wedding ring she purchased from a friend. The ring caused her finger to swell and the swelling spread to her entire hand. Despite various attempts using different tools, they were unable to free her finger from the grip of the strange ring.
According to a report by UTV, Faustina had misplaced the wedding ring her husband had given her. However, she had to attend a funeral where she would encounter familiar people, including notable church members. To avoid having to answer numerous questions and suspicions, she decided to buy another ring.
Her friend, who is known for selling wedding items, offered to sell her a ring, which she accepted. However, the day after wearing the ring, she found it impossible to remove, and it began causing damage to her skin. Despite seeking help from a health center, both the healthcare professionals and a mortuary attendant were unable to assist. Eventually, a pastor was called upon to pray over her swollen hand, after which a pair of pliers was used to loosen the unusual ring from her finger.
As a result, Faustina's hand now bears a painful wound, which has been dressed by nurses. She has been instructed to report daily for proper treatment to prevent any potential infections.
Interestingly, the UTV reporter mentioned that Faustina's friend, who sold her the "magical" ring, has mysteriously disappeared, and all attempts to locate her have been unsuccessful.
