Is Dr. Kwaku Boakye Gyamfi only 16 years old, despite having graduated from the UCC Medical School in 2023?

 

A recent graduate from the University of Cape Coast proudly declared his achievement as a medical doctor. Kweku Boakye Gyamfi shared two photos of himself donning his doctor's attire as evidence of his accomplishment. His post has garnered immense attention, amassing over one million views and receiving numerous congratulatory messages.

In the wake of the 2023 graduation of medical students from the University of Cape Coast (UCC), the hashtag "Congratulations Doc" has been trending on social media platforms in Ghana. Many graduates, filled with joy, have taken to social media to announce their successful attainment of a medical degree and their readiness to embark on their professional journeys.

Among these accomplished graduates is Kweku Boakye Gyamfi, who has captured the admiration of many by sharing his exhilarating news on X platform. Alongside two photos, he captioned: 

" Finally Dr. Kwaku Boakye Gyamfi 😁😁

Six long years finally over🥳🥳

Thank you God 🙏🙏"

In the first image, the former Prempeh College student can be seen wearing a doctor's coat, while in the second, he is dressed in surgical scrubs. Notably, Gyamfi addressed speculations about his age, refuting claims made on social media that he is only 16 years old. He is actually 22 years old.

Kwaku's post clarifies that he is not 16 years old, but rather 22 years old.
