US President Biden's dog bites another Secret Service Agent.

President Joe Biden's younger dog, Commander, reportedly bit a US Secret Service agent at the White House on Monday evening. This marks the 11th documented biting episode involving the 2-year-old German Shepherd. According to Anthony Guglielmi, the USSS chief of communications, a Secret Service Uniformed Division police officer came into contact with one of the First Family's pets and was subsequently bitten around 8 p.m. on Monday. The injured officer received medical treatment on the premises and is reported to be in stable condition, as confirmed by Guglielmi.

Commander has been linked to at least 11 biting incidents both at the White House and in Delaware, based on CNN reports and US Secret Service email records. This includes a November 2022 occurrence in which an officer was hospitalized due to injuries sustained when the dog bit their arms and thighs. In July, White House officials announced that the Bidens were implementing new training and leash protocols for their family pet in response to these incidents.

It's worth noting that another of President Biden's dogs, Major, was previously involved in biting incidents at the White House. The German Shepherd, Major, was eventually relocated from the White House, while Commander took up residence there in 2021. The email correspondence from July, obtained through Freedom of Information Act requests by the conservative group Judicial Watch, documented a total of 10 incidents. One such incident in October saw First Lady Dr. Jill Biden struggling to regain control of Commander as the dog charged towards a member of the Secret Service staff.
